A few weeks ago when I bought tickets to see these guys this Wednesday, I told a few people I was going, expecting them to say something like, “Cool!” or “They’re awesome.” Instead, the reaction I got from three different people was, “Who?” Am I crazy? I thought Imagine Dragons was tremendously popular on the level of Coldplay or someone like that. Am I crazy? Are there any of you who had never before heard of them before you read this?

Apparently I am crazy then. They are really good and they’re popular enough that they play in stadiums on their tour.

We’ve been fans for some time, now. I think we’ve bought 3-4 songs, although I’d never heard this particular one before.
I hardly know any modern music acts (thanks, satellite radio!) but I did learn about ID from my son. They are one of the ones I can deal with in terms of music vs “music” 🙂
