The picture is a gorgeous sculpture titled “Rising” by the artist Zhang Huan. It stands in front of the Momofuku restaurant in Toronto. Up close it really is impressive. It stands about 15 feet, (5 metres) high.

Nice! I’ve never taken a decent photo of that statue, but I like your’s!
I definitely didn’t think my picture adequately capture how cool that sculpture is. I tried from a few different angles close-up and faraway and I just didn’t feel like any of them conveyed it as well as I would have liked.
I think its location right in front of the plate glass windows makes it awkward to take good photos.
I love large ‘city’ sculptures. This is a stunning piece.
It is really eye-catching and my picture doesn’t do it justice.
