I don’t often do the Thursday Doors, which is the brainchild of Norm 2.o, but when I find a spectacular one I like to join the fun. THis is the entrance to the Columbia Restaurant, which opened in 1903, in the Ybor district of Tampa.
Have a great night! ~Phil
Great Door!!!!
This is a gorgeous door and I love the ceramic tile which looks hand-painted! Smiles, Robin
Gorgeous! I love it! 😀
That is a fabulous door!
If the doorway is this flashy, what’s the rest of the restaurant like?
The whole restaurant inside and out is decorated similarly. Allegedly, according to the host, every U.S. President since 1903 has been there. I think that streak may end. I can’t see the Donald stopping by there for any reason.
I suspect you’re right.
Spectacular indeed. I love the ceramic work, and that door – just wow. Thanks for sharing this Phil 🙂
Hard to even notice the door. 🙂
