That’s right, apparently at a loss for any petty crimes or misdemeanors, even the Biebs did it.

Yup, that’s right. There’s no reason not to. Yes, it’s popular and trendy to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but guess what? It’s also for a good cause. You don’t want to be shown up by Justin Bieber do you? If you don’t want to pour cold water over your head you can still help. I’ll give you two ways:
1) Click this link: ALS to go to their donation page and donate.
2) Click on one of my books in the sidebar and buy it for your Kindle, Nook, or iPad, then put a comment on this post saying which one you bought and I will donate 100% of what I would get from that sale to The ALS Association. If you buy a paperback let me know. I’ll take your word for it. C’mon, make me pay! Share this post by Facebook, Twitter, or re-blogging so that I have to donate an ice bucket full of cash! If you do your part I’ll do mine. That is my Ice Bucket Challenge to you! #IceBucketChallenge #StrikeOutALS
I only heard about this recently, and it’s a great idea!
and you can skip the ice and just give cash!
That’s what I did!
A great cause. Here in CA there is a serious drought so the money thing seems more appealing. Great that you are promoting this!
Ha! Funny that you mention Ca and the drought. I’m thinking of making fun of a state for my Saturday Phil Factor. Right now it’s between Vermont and California.
C’mon CO would be a gold mine for this.
I’m not sure what you mean…
Oh, please California! But particularly L.A. would be far and away the best. If you need any help with material, let me know! (P.S. I’m sure you are at no shortage for material, just saying, I could probably write my own blog making fun of CA L.A.)
The only place I’ve ever been in Can is San Diego, which I love, so I may not be as well versed about Ca as I should. Maybe I’ll do Vermont and you can mock Ca in a funny poem
BTW, yesterday I was going through my People You May Know feed on Linked In and you came up
As for CA, I’ve kind of mocked it a couple of times in various ways in poems already. As for Linked In, how do these computer know?! I specifically told them not to publicize the fact that I know you!! Oh boy!! Guess I’ll have to delete my profile now!!
Reblogged this on The English Professor at Large and commented:
This post by Phil Factor is for a good cause. Please read.
Good cause without the water bucket. We’re trying to save water in California. I’m re-blogging so the word gets out to more people.
Thanks Patricia! Great point about the water.
I read and put up on FB .. not so easy to donate from SA. Great cause!
That’s great Susan! Thanks! Is SA Saudi Arabia?
Think i’ll just have to be square and stay warm and dry!
