Few Words Wednesday: Do You Believe in Ghosts?

This picture was taken of me last weekend as I was putting a pergola together. See that cloud to the left of me? That photographer didn’t see that when she took the picture. The picture was a “Live” picture on an iPhone7 that has about 1-2 seconds of movement. In the live version that cloud moved from one side of the picture to the other. If you zoom in to the top of the cloud you can see what, to me, looks like a face. So what do you think? Was a ghost keeping an eye on me?

Have a ghostly great Wednesday! ~ Phil

  1. Oh gosh. I so do believe in ghosts. For real. How weird/freaky is that photo? Pretty weird/freaky. Erm…if that cloud was above your head…one might assume that you’ve got your head in the clouds. Haa. She got jokes. Great pic. Have a great day, Phil. Really awesome picture.

  2. p.s. you be careful on that ladder, mate. For real. 😉

    • I was never 100% convinced about ghosts until this picture. Especially the fact that you can distinctly see a face at the top of that cloud.

    • Thank you Sam!

      • Welcome, Phil! Election day tomorrow. Watch this space….;)

      • You know that I will. I love your political recaps. I also love all your other stuff too of course. But, your blog is my main conduit to all the British politics.

      • Yay. Day made. Oh gosh…no pressure. Oh man, I got plenty to say re the elections. Sure, I have opinions-like everyone else, but in my case-I have sat down face to face, with 7 MP’s (Labour, Conservative and Lib Dems) so, I feel like I ‘know’ them. As for UKIP…nope. Those guys are crazier than a box of frogs. (common British saying…I have no idea what it means…but I kinda do). Laters.

      • Tonight I will be heading to your blog to read your last few posts just to make sure that I am all caught up

      • Ok great. Not much movement there…but will certainly make up for it! Laters.

  3. There’s also a streak arc shaped light under that cloud going towards the house. Was the photo taken through a window?

  4. You go homeowner! I think it’s a puff of hot tub steam and your wife messing with you!

  5. Those iphone live photos creep me out. I don’t know what you got there, but it’s kinda freaky. I’d like to believe, but I’m super cynical. I’ve had a few things happen to me after my mom and sister died that made me wonder, though.

    • If it is a ghost, I think it’s my father-in-law. When I zoom Dan at the cloud and could see the face at the top of it, it looks just like him. I’ve always wanted there to be real ghost, but I was never convinced of it. Now I think I’m leaning towards that.

  6. I think you definitely have a visitor there, Phil. I definitely see what appears to be a man’s face above the cloud. I zoomed in and it was very clear. It defies any rational explanation. Very cool!

  7. Hmms…I am never fully convinced of ghosts like this. I’m more of an “ooh it’s probably just a trick of the light” type deal? You know, reflection and refraction (those are sciencey words for light, right?) But I do believe in spirits and the like.

    • I wasn’t really convinced when I saw the still photo. I just thought it was a trick of the light as well. But when I saw the live photo where I moved from one side of the picture to that other then I became more of a believer.

  8. I so believe in ghosts and spirits! If you say there is a likeness to your father-in-law, then most likely he was making sure you remained safe on the ladder. Unless of course you didn’t have a good relationship, but let’s not go there!! Great photo!

  9. I think I commented in the wrong place. A very intriguing photograph.

  10. I do believe in ghosts 🙂
    Neat photo!

  11. Just curious Phil, was your father in law quite the handyman or was at least into DIY ? If so were you possibly thinking “wonder what he’d think of my work ?” I ask because there are cases reported (whether real or not ) of folk being able to ‘create’ with their mind, images on photo film. Maybe you subconsciously created it and by chance it was picked up om the phone. I defo can see what seems to be a face. Anyhow, whatever it’s a great photo to ponder on. Thank you.

  12. Did the ghost at least offer to help?

  13. Maybe I am a bit odd, but I swear that ghost is the clown from Poltergeist. You better watch your back, Phil, especially when you are on that damn ladder. He looks like a real bastard.

  14. The investigation of material science is extremely muddled. Exhaustive assessment of points shrouded in center school all through secondary school can disrupt even the most willing students. Since you need to comprehend physical science top to bottom while likewise concentrating on other significant disciplines, physical science turns out to be extensively more testing at the college level. pay someone to do my online physics class, then again, give the adaptability of home review and using time effectively. Class areas are one more significant component to ponder. On the off chance that you don’t have simple admittance to public travel, taking examples online can be the most ideal choice for you. Envision how simple it is going to a physical science illustration on the web in the event that all you needed to do was turn on your PC and sign in to the video talk application when the opportunity arrived. Anyway, assuming you are battling in your web-based physical science review, you ought to pay somebody to take my web-based physical science class for me.
